The Cherry Family has been raising all-natural Angus beef and heritage hogs on the rolling hills of the Tennessee valley for more than 30 years. In 2007, LeeAnn and Bill Cherry founded Bear Creek Farm, with the vision to provide the community with sustainable, pasture raised cattle and hogs. They supply over 50 independent restaurants with a variety of high quality meats, locally grown, directly from their own farm, as well
Bear Creek Farm have contacted us with the idea to help them build and design their online store to be able to offer their products to more customers looking for fresh and dry aged, locally-grown meat.

The client wanted their new website to focus on the family aspect of their business, along with promoting the sustainable, traditional way in which they raise their beef and hogs. The creative team at SMDesign Studio came up with a delightful design that tied in the goals of Bear Creek Farm both as a family-run business with tradition and an ambitious new player in the online ecommerce marketplace.
Cherry family values and traditional, sustainable cattle farming are the inspiration behind the design for the Bear Creek Farm website. The welcoming feel of the website invites the visitors to really experience the farm, making them feel like a part of their community, even if they are miles away. The „Our story“ section of the site, featuring a family photo collage, is one of the most compelling because it offers you a glimpse into the family that started it all.

The ecommerce site we have designed for Bear Creek Farm is clear, simple and to the point. The clean and easy to use online store with the stunning photos of the mouth-watering meat cuts at the forefront, captures the attention and converts visitors into customers. The new website was designed to be fully responsive for all devices, to ensure Bear Creek Farm could capture sales from customers regardless of which device they use.
